Uruguayan Amethyst is sought after. Its considered a high grade amethyst, with dark bright color depth, and typical small point structures and a thin matrix (crust), which most often amounts to better value too, as these items are sold on weight, and there is less crust or rock and more crystal for the weight.
clusters can be used to cleanse other crystals, by resting them on the amethyst bed, in addition clusters are often used to radiate energy in a room as the many points and point faces, refract and reflect light around.
