Pewter Urnes Snakes Pendant with Chain.

Carved on large rune stones in Urnes, Norway. These snakes are the symbol of Loki, brother to Thor and Son of Odin. The shape of the snake, ever changing, a trickster - the clever god is flexible like like the serpent and slivers easily out of trouble. Vikings believed snakes, in shedding their skins were both wise and unique.
Pendant Size: approx 3.2cm x 2.3cm. Each pendant is made from lead-free pewter, and comes with a pewter chain. You may prefer a waxed cotton cord, which should be below this item (if in stock).
