Amethyst Stalactitic Quartz Geode SQ1

One off - Natural Moroccan Amethyst Geode with Stalactitic Quartz. This item includes the 2 sides that fit together. One side features the Stalactitic Quartz crystal, easily seen as the tower of crystals within one half. Together these items are stunning and rare. Amethyst contains iron deposits, which make the colour you know and love, but in this instance not only does it make the purple its also creating the reds you see.

Size One Half is 16cm x 14cm x 9cm, the other half is 15cm x 10cm x  8cm. Total weight 2.26 kilos

A Geode is a self contained cave of crystals, in this case Amethyst  crystals. The geode is formed from a spewed gas ball propelled from volcano which has then cooled and formed a hard out coating. The inside is partly hollow and will house many crystals that formed from the minerals and gases.
