The serpent is a symbol of Wadjet, the goddess of Lower Egypt, who sat upon the brow of pharaohs and gods. The serpent appearing through the brow is the same serpent that rises in kundalini through the chakras and emerges out of the crown and slides down to the brow where it sits and views time and space very differently. The serpent is the result of trance and meditation and through the mesmerizing vision and sensitivity of the serpent one sees the universe.
