Part malachite and part azurite, Chrysocolla concentrates on the heart and moves up and down through the inner flute and concentrates to the throat then to the brow chakras giving understanding of emotions and aiding in decision making regarding emotions.

Chrysocolla normally occurs as a bright blue/green crust or as compact groups. It can also appear as brown to black when impurities are present. Chyrsocolla forms in altered copper deposits, and can occur with other minerals (cuprite, malachite, azurite). It forms as crusts, layers, botroidal, masses and needles. Group SILICATES, Composition (CuAl)2H2Si2O5(OH)4.nH2O, Hardness 2.0-4.0, Crystal structure MONOCLINIC.
