Meaning of Septarian

Septarian crystals are very old. The crystal form under incredible pressure from deep within the rock cycle, when the rocks are in the sedimentary stage. The Crystals therefore have the quality of increasing ones determination, power of their own individual perspective of lifes journey. Septarian understands the value of its own journey, the preciousness of it, and does not pander to popular views of the time. Septarian is the individual traveler - The Rock Shaman that as traveled through the earth and grown on its way. No two Septarian Crystals are the same.

Septarian nodules consist primarily of a combination of three main minerals: calcite, aragonite, and barite.
