Okenite is an unusual mineral. Frequently forms in"cottonball" like clusters, with crystals are so thin they look like tiny fibers, and appear as fluff! Very fragile crystals,  These crystals can be very pretty and often occur with other minerals such as apophyllite, and other zeolites.

Okenite has the chemical formula CaSi2O5·2H2O, indicating it contains calcium (Ca), silicon (Si), oxygen (O), and water (H2O).
