Meaning of Chrysocolla

The Maiden; with the ability to act on emotions clearly and decisively; a very female stone that provides wisdom of emotions, strength, insight and purpose. Part malachite and part azurite, Chrysocolla concentrates on the heart and moves up and down through the inner flute and concentrates to the throat then to the brow chakras giving understanding of emotions and aiding in decision making regarding emotions. This provides the stone with a use for emotional healing, opening the pathways from the heart to allow for greater understanding of emotion trauma, self assertion and expression. This maiden protects her heart too. Matters of love and the home are protected with the same insight and decisiveness. Chrysocolla Physical Properties

Chrysocolla normally occurs as a bright blue/green crust or as compact groups. It can also appear as brown to black when impurities are present. Chyrsocolla forms in altered copper deposits, and can occur with other minerals (cuprite, malachite, azurite). It forms as crusts, layers, botroidal, masses and needles.
