A Desert Rose is a naturally occurring formation of selenite gypsum, like all crystals water is involved in their formation, even in the desert. The desert rose is formed through a process of moisture condensation, the selenite huddles together and forms a mass, this mass is then subjected to the elements around it and through sand and wind erosion, the desert rose formation is born. These can be found in many desert areas, the crystals we have are mostly found in Mexico, Morocco or Algeria. They make for lovely home decorations and elegant natural gifts. One should bare in mind that direct prolonged exposure to water, will alter the formation, so not a good crystal to be placed in a bathroom.
Desert Rose Meaning - The Rejuvenator, helps with relief of stress and enhances will power. Tissue repair, and fast pain relief.
