Goldstone is a man made crystal, originally made by the Monks of Italy and comprised of Copper and glass. The Crystal is still reputed to have healing properties all along the lines of copper. Some sources speculate the connection between the making of the glass by the monks to act and process of Alchemy..... Which was a process of changing an item from one state to another. In spiritual terms Alchemy represents the changing of a base material to a higher state material and therefore from mere man to ascended being. This is usually represented by Lead and Gold, however Alchemists experimented with many materials. The alchemist was as interested in proving the theory of ascension and taking what was at the time a basic scientific approach to the subject. This connection of Alchemy to Goldstone, to Buddha's has obvious synergy.
