Crackle Quartz Crystals, are natural rock quartz crystal that have been coloured. The process of colouring the crystals leaves the crystal with a "Crackle" appearance in the colour. Once coloured the colour is set, so the crystal is clean to the touch. These crystals usually originate from Brazil. The colours can vary but mostly come in Green, Red, Blue, Purple, and Pink or Magenta.
The Green version of Crackle Quartz is good Kryptonite Crystal replacement. Another perhaps more accurate crystal would be Moldavite, with is a lot more expensive. Kryptonite is the fictional element / crystal from the superman comics. Ok this will be short. As the colour is man made we steer away from describing effects. There may well be some, i'm sure light and radiation will be affected by the crystals, but we know of no effects to mention other than a pretty crystal to look at.
